Mr. Aaron DelSignore

Taking part in the community in which he lives, Henderson, Nevada resident Aaron DelSignore, who is a Vice President-Investments with UBS strives to better his life and the lives of others by promoting a healthy, balanced lifestyle. Aaron DelSignore is a former amateur boxer who trained hard under an established regimen, and this physical conditioning was merely one part of his recipe for success. Aaron also took time to build up his mind, reading the works of John Steinbeck, F. Scott Fitzgerald, G. K. Chesterton, John A Crow, and C. S. Lewis. Many of these writers stressed the importance a person’s character plays in his development, and Aaron DelSignore relays this message to local at-risk youth through a program of speeches and lectures.

Aaron DelSignore regularly appears before groups of young people to speak to them about life choices. Mr. Aaron DelSignore knows something about the impact decisions have on a life’s trajectory, as he was formerly an at-risk youth. Aaron DelSignore stresses positive lifestyles to these children, and he highlights how dangerous drug use can be. "In looking back over my life, one main reasons that I never ended up in prison like many of my childhood friends, is that I NEVER even tried drugs. Once you get started on that path, you can develope habits, and once you develope habits like drugs, it is a curse for LIFE. Look at some of the Hollywood stars, no matter how much fame or money they achieve...addiction ends up destroying them." When he is talking with youths about choices in their lives, Aaron DelSignore also mentions the importance of clarity and taking advantage of second chances when they arise.

In his free time, Aaron DelSignore studies Portuguese and travels. Aaron DelSignore is an avid reader and counts The Epic of Latin America, Cannery Row, and The Wealth of Nations among his favorite novels. Mr. DelSignore is active in many local charities and social clubs, including Catholic Charities of Southern Nevada, Food for the Poor, International Social Ministry of St. Thomas More, and Don't Trash Nevada.

Reading Aaron DelSignore

Look at the library of a man, and it will speak to you of his character.  Whether he searches for knowledge, relaxation or just entertainment, whom he reads is often more telling than what.

Mr. Aaron DelSignore is an eclectic and passionate reader, listing among his favorite authors such heavyweights as American novelists John Steinbeck and F. Scott Fitzgerald, along with the classic British masters of apologetics, C.K. Lewis and G.K. Chesterton.  These writers point toward a reader who thinks about character, deeply and often.

Aaron DelSignore has perpetuated this idea –the role that the character of a person plays in his or her development as a fully realized person – throughout his life, with his own challenges and successes as examples, and now as a speaker, mentor and counselor to at-risk youth and others.

In addition to this, Aaron DelSignore is an active member of his community, volunteering and offering his services to a variety of charities and causes in Henderson, Nevada.  He is passionately involved in making a difference in the lives of others, giving back, teaching, and proving once again that character is judged by actions and results, not just words.

Although words are important, something Aaron DelSignore also understands.  Look at the library, look at the man.

Aaron DelSignore — In The Arena

Aaron DelSignore has been in the arena.

Figuratively and literally.  Like Teddy Roosevelt, Mr. DelSignore was an amateur boxer, taking life lessons from the sweet science.  The stamina and strength gained from his years of physical training and conditioning have served him well.

Aaron DelSignore has taken those lessons and the other hard-earned ones, gleaned from his beginnings as an at-risk young person and his ultimate success in the financial services industry, and is now passing them on.  A sought-after speaker, Aaron DelSignore often speaks to local youth about his life and philosophy, accentuating the power of a positive lifestyle, the importance of developing character, and the redemption of second chances.

Focusing on personal choices and particularly on avoiding the temptations and eventual devastation caused by drugs, Aaron DelSignore teaches by personal example and shares his stories of success from a lifetime of living and learning.

Aaron DelSignore has been active in his community for years, a leader in Henderson, Nevada in various charitable organizations including Food for the Poor, the Knights of Columbus, and The International Social Ministry of St. Thomas More.  He’s also actively involved in the Don’t Trash Nevada campaign and the Italian American Club of Southern Nevada.
